I saw a fantastic deal this morning when I was scrolling Facebook before I got out of bed. I mean, come on…we all do it. AmIRight? That’s when I catch up on all.the.things. going on in the last 24 hours. Also, that’s when I am delaying the inevitable…getting out of bed. Alas…. We went through…
There a few things I like to always have on hand at home. Decent dark chocolate, a hunk of good cheese and wine. I feel like I can entertain at the drop of a hat without much forethought. BUT I am not always the best at picking wine. Admittedly, I like a good label. So…
Our home was built in 1985 and we’ve owned it since 2008. It was a foreclosure that has needed some cosmetic repairs, but each year we try to do one big improvement. My most hated space was my kitchen and now it is my happy place. We had old tile counters with grout that I…
As our family gets older, we are trying out new forms of entertainment. We are excited to attend our first Supercross event. The Monster Energy Supercross is coming to Oakland this Saturday. Our city slicker kiddos are quite excited to see what it’s all about. Keep reading to save $5 on tickets! We will be…
This review was made possible by iConnect Influencer Management, Luvs was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine. As a mom of three and a previous cloth diaper mama, I am always looking for a good deal. I cloth diapered my first two kiddos but when it came to cloth diapering for…
We saw the Disney on Ice show last night and it was an experience of a lifetime for a few reasons. 🙂 Dream Big is officially my favorite of the Disney on Ice shows that I have seen. I’m so glad it was such a wonderful show because we went way out of our comfort…
Cleaning my house has evolved considerably since I first ventured out on my own. What used to be a couple loads of laundry each week and running the vacuum if the floors got really bad has morphed into what feels like a full time job around here. I used to be the type of person…
Just when I think I’ve seen all the Disney on Ice shows for the year, another one comes to town. You may recall our wonderful time in March when we saw World’s of Enchantment. Lots of happy family memories are made at these events. For our Bay Area readers, Disney on Ice is presenting DREAM…
Our family was very excited to check out this new show. It’s been our tradition for years to go to the circus right before school starts. It’s a fun way to round out our summer activities. The circus closed so we were looking for a new family event. Our oldest two children turn 10 and…
If you haven’t already, it is time to think about Back-to-School season. Supply lists, new clothes & shoes, and backpacks all need to be purchased before they seemingly disappear and panicking the night before school starts. Some of you may be thinking, “Wait, doesn’t she homeschool?” And yes, we do homeschool our kiddos, but this…
Can you BELIEVE it is August already? I’m seriously over here crying! I mean, the summer has flown right by…and I’m not ok with it! The first part of our summer was absolute insanity. Then, creating a schedule after the insanity was another level or torture. So, now we are just going with it. We…
I have to admit, I am a bargain shopper. And when I find a great one I try to share it with you all! When I found this promotion I decided to place an order for my son’s October birthday. Yes, it’s a few months away but I know his love for RC cars isn’t…
