As our family gets older, we are trying out new forms of entertainment. We are excited to attend our first Supercross event. The Monster Energy Supercross is coming to Oakland this Saturday. Our city slicker kiddos are quite excited to see what it’s all about. Keep reading to save $5 on tickets!
We will be among the 50,000 fans that are expected to attend this event. Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship in the world. Over the course of a 17-race season, the most talented endurance athletes from across the globe compete on custom-designed track.
I have no doubt that my boys are going to love every second of the competition. I know the next time we visit my parents house they will be begging to get out the dirt bikes. If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, look no further! We are taking our 10, 8, and 4 year old. I hear we will want to pack our earplugs too. Dirt, fire, loud noises, motorcycles, racing…sounds like an exciting way to spend our Saturday.
If you want to make a day of it, there is a Pit Party from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The pre-show Monster Energy Supercross Pit Party is a tailgate-meets-festival trade show experience that attracts nearly 20,000 fans in advance of race day. Fans can experience interactive displays and immersion opportunities, including the chance to purchase official event merchandise while getting up-close-and-personal with top Supercross stars, teams and professionals while posing for photos and collecting autographs. More details HERE and pssss….you can get free Pit Party passes if you recycle a monster energy can.
Whether you are first-time attenders or die hard Supercross fans, if you live in the Bay Area you should check out the event this weekend. If you live in another part of the country, follow along on social media to see when this event will be in a city near you.
