It’s been crazy HOT where I live in California. I suppose I’m thankful I don’t live near Death Valley where they are predicting a high of 127 degrees this week. We’ve been running our A/C constantly. I feel like our air gets so dry and fake when we can’t open the windows. I don’t know…
Every day I feel like my 2-year-old is growing, learning, and mastering new skills. There are a lot of toys leaving our toy bins right now as we “level up” to the next set of toys that will stretch and entertain him. The challenge is to find toys that will not only work for simply…

There are a lot of sites to print cards, but my heart belongs to Minted. If you are in the market for baby announcements, you must check out their beautiful collection of cards. This is my cousin’s baby, Etta Jane. She’s the 4th baby in her family and first girl. The colors of her professional…

We made lovely family memories at Disney on Ice. Feld Entertainment puts together a wonderful show and experience. We haven’t been to a Disney on Ice show in about 5 years! It’s really a shame that we let those years slip by. We always have such a good time. Learn from my mistake and take…
Before kids, Valentine’s Day was a bit more romantic. Plans made well in advance, thoughtful gifts, gourmet dinner. Now? Well, we do still try to do a little something for Valentine’s Day, but with three kids, busy babysitters and work in the morning, we are all about a family night–but we try to make it…
Do your kids see commercials on TV for Disney on Ice and beg you to take them? Mine do! It’s a wonderful winter activity when the days are long! Our family is the perfect stage where all 3 of our kids will enjoy the show. We are excited to go as a family in February. This…
I love to munch on crunchy snacks. I like sweet foods, I like salty foods, I like FOOD! Have you tried New York Style pita chips. panetini, or bagel crisps? If you are looking for an afternoon snack or a finger food to bring to a party, these chips are made to dip! I like to smear laughing…
It is no secret that my family loves to visit our nearest National Parks and Lakeshore. I shared last year about the National Park Service (NPS) centennial and am glad to follow the NPS social media accounts to stay informed about important things like Free Entrance Days. Right now I even have an old college…
