clean mama review :: coupon code + giveaway

Cleaning my house has evolved considerably since I first ventured out on my own. What used to be a couple loads of laundry each week and running the vacuum if the floors got really bad has morphed into what feels like a full time job around here.Host Kit

I used to be the type of person to knock out the house cleaning in a few hours on Saturday morning or I would stress clean simply because it made me feel better.  Tell me I’m not the only one who stress cleans?!

That all changed when I started having kids. Not only was there more to do, there just wasn’t as much time to get it all done. I’d still try to do one big cleaning every week – bathroom, kitchen, floors, catch up on laundry. But our growing family quickly demanded a higher priority for nursing babies and keeping toddlers alive than scrubbing the shower. Truthfully, the last few years have been hard for me personally because I love a clean house, and I need order and organization to function well! I knew something needed to change in my cleaning routine to satisfy my desire for a clean, efficient home while also letting me be present with my family and not constantly cleaning.

Clean Mama was the answer.

Instead of trying to get it all done in a large block of time once a week, I just follow Clean Mama’s daily cleaning schedule! The great thing is if you don’t get to the task for say, Tuesday, you just let it go and pick it up the next week. This made such a difference for me when I had 3 kids ages 4 and under…I could still be accomplishing something each day without feeling completely overwhelmed. Slowly over the last 3 years I’ve gotten into the routine of following Clean Mama’s daily tasks and the specific chore for each day of the week. And now I feel like we’re pretty much a well-oiled machine. Most of the time anyway 😉

If you are struggling with how to keep on top of all the household chores or in need of some major organizing help, visit Clean Mama’s website and follow her blog! She also posts the day of the week chore daily on Instagram which serves as a great reminder to get those bathrooms clean while you’re scrolling!clean mama host kit
