natural feeding with the wooden spuni :: review

Let’s get back to the basics! Over one hundred fifty years ago, utensils would have been made from what? Wood! I can just picture mommies ladling out the soup that had been cooking over the hearth all day and serving it to their families using a hand-whittled wooden ladle, and unless they had the money to buy metal utensils, their table spoons would have been lovingly carved as well.

Spuni2 logoThat is the picture that I think of when feeding my son with the Wooden Spuni! This honest to goodness, hand finished Dark Maple baby spoon is great way to get back to the basics of natural feeding. With all the synthetic materials we are surrounded with these days, it feels good knowing that I am feeding my little guy with something directly from nature.

The Spuni has a unique design and shape to it. I did a review for Spuni several months ago, so you can read all about the ergonomic design of these spoons HERE.

Neat product. I had seen someone else use a spuni at a family function and thought it worked very well, but decided not to get one because I am generally weary of plastics intended for the mouth. Now I know about this product I will give it a it a shot.

What a refreshing product. Everything is made of plastics so it’s nice to see a product so natural for baby.
