I mean, for my family in the summer months, shoes are optional…yet we still need them if we are leaving our home.  I work my best to find a good shoe for my children, no matter the age.  I believe that so much comes and happens to your body from a good (or a bad) pair of shoes.  Invest in your feet to help your body stay healthy and strong.  Start with your kiddos too!

The company I want to share with you today is Soft Star Shoes and the pair of shoes I chose for Preslee are just divine.  Purple with a hint of pink.  What little girl doesn’t like that!  The colors rock incredibly and the craftsmanship is bar none.  They look a lot like moccasins and will be just perfect for our winter months that are coming so quickly.  Ugh!

Here is a little bit that I know about Soft Star Shoes ::

  • They aren’t mass produced.  They are hand-made to order.  Boo-yah! Talk about a custom pair of shoes for your little one’s feet that doesn’t break the bank! Count me in!
  • Comfortable, adorable and EASY to put on.  While I received a pair for my 2 year old, and she can’t quite finish the process on her own, it’s quite easy for me to strap it around her ankle and off we are running.
  • The soles are made out of Vibram material. Great for their little growing feet! Barefoot is best in our home, and these aid that philosophy.
  • Don’t have children? They make men’s, women’s, big kids and baby shoes!!
  • You get what you pay for, right? And what you spend here you are getting WAY more.  Total value y’all!!
  • You can also design your own and add your “own” touches to the shoe of choice!

    Where are the ones you strap on for her though? These look like the slip on elasticized backs?

    1. I’m sorry, yes that’s probably a better way to say it. There is NO strap, it’s around the ankle where she has the problem. So I mistakenly said “strap on”.

  44. We have had a few wonderful pairs of soft stars over the years. My daughter has loved them. I’ve been eyeing the North Star boots for my daughter and merry janes for myself.

  45. My kids are 3 and love their ramblers! They also had adorable soft star sandals this summer. We received lots of compliments. A gift certificate would be great for their next pair

  47. No children but love Softstar shoes for my adult feet! I have the Merry-Jane metros and wore them daily all spring, summer, and fall. Now I’m waiting for my Phoenix boots to arrive! I would like another pair of metros to keep in the office or maybe the new ballet flats once they are available in narrow width.

  53. My son loves his Ramblers! We highly recommend them for hard to fit ‘tall’ feet (read that as very chubby as an new walker and now a very high instep for a toddler.) He went through 4 pair of custom shoes as his foot grew until now he’s in a standard size from them. We couldn’t be happier and he only wants to wear Soft Star!

  54. My daughter loves her ramblers(she can put them on herself, and I let her pick her colors), and I have to admit, I lived in mine last winter…but what I’m loving right now are the Merry Janes, and have a pair of the brown corduroy suede ones on the way:-)

  57. I adore the child roo moccasin! It’s just so soft and adorable. I would like to give my almost-two-year-old a pair. He only wears natural fabrics and Soft Star Shoes go along perfect with that. I live in The Netherlands, those shoes would have to travel a long long way to get to my little guy! But it would be worth the trip!
