the lauren conrad line at @kohl’s is a #summerfashion win! #realmomstyle

*i received a gift card that i used to cover a portion of the purchases mentioned in this post. however, i spent my own money on some of the items because i love it all so much!*

This summer I have been running, running and running some more. And I’m not talking about working out! While I am doing that too, when I am not at the gym I am running my kids all over the place. I have been needing some predictable, go-to clothing essentials if you will.

That being said, I have found a great line at my local Kohl’s that I have fallen in love with very quickly. The Lauren Conrad line has me swooning! There are some pretty fabulous items that are fitting my body and style great this season.

I have a handful of the tops. What I love about them is that they are so lightweight. It’s been pretty hot here and there, these are great on hot days and not hot days. 🙂 There are 9 different color variations in the LC Lauren Conrad Pleated Top, and I have the following 3 so far! I also like that when I wear my hair up, there is a cute bow at the top of the shirt that you can see. Adjusting this bow helps with the fit of the shirt as well!

Also, I’m very in to patterned shorts right now. When I saw the LC Lauren Conrad Floral Pull-On shorts, I knew I had to try them on. Once I got them on, I loved them. They have an elastic waist and are longer than other shorts I’ve seen on the market. They do have lining in them, so if you aren’t a lining gal, just know this about the shorts. Plus, there are pockets. Yes!  Just today, I saw some MORE shorts from the line and HAD to have them. They are the LC Lauren Conrad Challis Embroidered Shorts. I am going to wear them tomorrow for the 4th actually! I love the detailing at the bottom of the shorts!

Cuffed ankle jeans are a must as well if you don’t have some. They are a staple in my closet for this year. I bought some Lauren Conrad cuffed ankle jeans and they have been to Ohio and back. Literally lol! The ones I picked up even come with a cute, salmon colored skinny belt. It will look adorable when I wear a tucked in shirt with the pants. These also come in 5 different shades. They have a stretch to the material as well. Win/Win!
