I’ve been chipping away at some stubborn weight. After I had my youngest almost 6 years ago, I never lost the last 15 pounds of baby weight. This past fall all 3 kids went off to school. For the first time in 11 years I had a little bit of time for myself. I set…
Every year I want to try to make corned beef for St. Patrick’s Day, but I can’t help but think about what a tough cut of meat brisket can be. Tough to cook, tough to chew, you get the idea. I wimp out and don’t make it. In the last few months I have…
Monster Jam is coming to California in April. Our family became fast fans of Monster Jam after attending our first event last year. We’ve gone a few times since then and walk away in awe each time. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 7 p.m. the Levi Stadium will host all the favorite Monster Jam…
There’s no such thing as too many blind bag toy options. Radz is no stranger on the blog. You may recall THIS post around Christmas with the 3 in 1 blind BOXES. Today’s review is the 4 in 1 DELUXE Smooshy Mushy Besties blind bags. The packaging is so cheerful. We loved the ice cream…
I’m a pretty disciplined person, but I have children who are not! I’m trying to teach them to use their time wisely and productively. I’m training them how to make every moment count with our Time Timer. This post will focus on how we use our visual timer in our HOME. It is also great…

Jokari Gourmet has come up with a unique and ever so helpful tool for cutting, pitting, scooping, slicing, mashing, and spreading avocados. I am a big fan of an efficient…
Valentine’s Day is about a week away. Our family has a long running tradition since 2004. We get Pizza Hut stuffed crust pizza, open our cards that came in the mail, and enjoy a movie night with dessert. I grabbed a bag of the MOST STUF OREO for our treat and I can hardly wait…
Becca’s Bunch is a new Nick Jr. series. It’s a pre-school comedy about a little bird who has a big heart. If you aren’t familiar with the show, HERE is a link to the adorable theme song and more videos. There is a cast of characters that your little ones will fall in love with…
Cave Tools has been helping me with my meat skills the last few months. You may recall the meat thermometer being a welcome addition to my grilling game. I’ve had so much success with that tool. Now things are really getting fancy in my kitchen with the stainless steel marinade meat injector. Watch out Bobby…
In the spirit of household goals, reducing clutter, and being more efficient in our homes, this post has a Marie Kondo vibe. I enjoy household tools that make my job easier and bring me joy. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the best at keeping our clothing crisply ironed. My husband is…
Do you ever walk by the couches at Costco and wonder if they are worth buying? As far as the price of couches go, they are very reasonable, but will they last? I had all those questions running around in my head for years. This is the time of year you will see all the…
For a few years now I’ve been using this really cute and FREE app that adds to the excitement of Santa coming. It’s a special way to keep the magic of Santa’s visit alive in our home. There are free “stickers” to use, but I will admit that I splurged and spent $.99 on a…
