Blind Bag toys are my go-to for an inexpensive birthday gift for a friend. I know how they bring smiles to my own children and provide them with an opportunity to use their imagination when they play with the toys. Kids love to collect the besties and charms. I would say to create a homemade basket personalized for the individual.
I like to shop the after Christmas and end of summer sales to pick up clearance toys and gift baskets for my on hand birthday gifts.
I buy discounted craft kits at walmart and michaels and have them on hand.
I hit up the dollar tree for coloring books as an add on.
I buy extras of the stuff my kids like when it’s on sale and use it for gifts
I am horrible at it, but my sister always finds stuff on clearance or at the dollar tree and has a nice stock pile of things.
I usually get Shopkins – they are still a big hit with my daughter’s friends!
We always have makeup/hair accessories on hand.
I always keep a supply of boxes of crayons (I buy them when they’re on sale) and coloring books to give out as gifts at kids birthday parties.

I wish I did! Generally, we try to find inexpensive games to give as gifts since they are suitable for both boys and girls and have little to do with current trends or popular toys.
