4 ways to simply indulge when watching your weight

This post was sponsored by Weight Watchers International, Inc. as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to warmth and sunshine, my sweet tooth and all bad eating habits come out in full! When watching your weight, that’s a hard thing to deal with. I seriously want to eat all.the.things!

Lately, I’ve been trying to find some great work arounds with this challenge. I want to figure it out before my kids are off for summer break. Once they are on break, it’s like my brain is on break too and I just can’t take any more thinking. It’s weird, I know. Ha! In case you all are the same way, I wanted to share a few things that have been helping me curb my cravings so far this spring…

4 ways to simply indulge when watching your weight

For starters, a little synopsis. The whole point of this post is to get you thinking outside of the box…to share with you simple solutions and changes you can easily make, swaps if you will, to what you are buying already. It’s just a simple choice and a change of mindset. With the help of some new found Weight Watchers® products, I’m thrilled to share with you some things I’ve recently learned! These products are a great place to start your journey, or to continue your journey from where you are presently at.

There is actually a new Freestyle™ program with zero Points® foods. And, if you are familiar with Weight Watchers® products, that makes choosing what you eat that much easier! Your options on the fly will be smarter, potentially less points and more great tasting food. Win/Win/Win on the way to reaching your goals.

The first thing I always do when I want to get my “sweet tooth” on is start with a large glass of water. Ice water has actually become a craving of mine, as absolutely lame as that sounds. Trust me on this one…try it! You will not WANT it, but you will soon become loving it too, especially in the hot summer months.

For the Carb Lover ::
I love fruits and vegetables, and when I’m trying to lose weight, I definitely up my intake of these two items. But dang it, sometimes I just want some bread! Just a taste will do, and I was thrilled to find these Sandwich Thins at Walmart with the Weight Watchers logo on them. A simple swap here for normal bread and into my cart they went. These are a great source of fiber, are only 3 points…and come in whole wheat, honey wheat and flax & fiber.

For the Ice Cream Lover ::
Full on indulgence comes from the special treats from Weight Watchers. And, you guys, they are so good…without all the regret! Of course, these are individually wrapped to help with portion control, around 100 calories, and are between 2-4 points. There are more ice cream novelties from Weight Watchers, these are just the two I grabbed to try out first!

For the Crunch Lover ::
Let’s be real, every now and then we just need to indulge in something crunchy! Some will take the chips, while I prefer some good popcorn. I recently learned about this Jolly Time, Healthy Pop that is Weight Watchers “approved” with the seal on the box.  This is the ONLY popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers and each individual serving size is 100 calories, non-GMO, gluten free and only 3 points.

Weight Watchers products are an easy switch for me. The whole Weight Watchers program is something that just makes sense, and the fact that I can find solutions in the store now to help my choices makes life even easier. I mean, we are all busy, right? Why complicate things!

Now it’s YOUR TURN! Talk to me! What items have you already tried? What is an item you’d LIKE to try from Weight Watchers? There are quite a few good ones. I’d love to hear from you!!
