why i choose cold brew coffee {even when it’s cold outside}

disclaimer no giveaway
I only became a coffee drinker about 5 years ago. I tried cold brew coffee and quickly fell in love. It was summer, the coffee was smooth, refreshing and somehow seemed sweeter than coffee I’d tried before (even though it wasn’t sweetened at all). Then winter came and I switched to hot coffee and it just wasn’t the same. It seemed more bitter and harsh. I had to add sugar to enjoy it and it was harder on my stomach.

So when I found Java House‘s cold brew coffee pods, I was so excited!  These concentrated cold brew pods can be enjoyed hot or cold.  So I can enjoy that smooth, cold brew flavor in a cup of hot coffee!  When coffee is cold brewed, it is actually less acidic, less bitter and naturally smoother.  No wonder I love it so much more than typically brewed coffee!  Java House steeps Arabica coffee beans in cold water for 12 hours to create their coffee concentrate.  And seriously, the flavor is undeniably better than any other coffee pod I’ve tried!

I was more than happy to try out the concentrate both hot and cold.  For a cup of hot cold brew coffee, simply place a coffee pod in your single-serve brewer and add 8 ounces of water.  To enjoy cold, peel open a pod and add the concentrate to 8 ounces of water and ice. I love to add a little cream, no sugar and enjoy.  So good.  And with four varieties from light to dark, there are plenty of options to suit your tastes.  Java House can be found at javahouse.com, walmart.com or at your local WalMart.

Have you tried cold brew coffee?  It’s a game changer for me.  Would love to hear your thoughts!
