what’s black and white and striped all over, from candice lou?

I love me a good romper! One that is cute but moves with me too. I don’t know about you, but I see these cute gals all sportin’ a romper doing daily life, I yearn to be as cute as them. I found a romper that, in my opinion, can be THE one. I featured Candice Lou with an adorable kimono and lace shirt a week or so ago, and now I have another item from her shop that I’m happy to share.

What originally grabbed my attention was the stripes in this fun Seaside Stripes Romper. Then, I looked closer and saw the pink piping. The mix of these great colors and patterns is awesome. Seeing it in person was even better, because I was able to feel the fabric. It’s not a heavy cotton, it’s a light, airy material that is great for all weather types!

To note, I was a little confused at what shoes to wear. Doesn’t that happen too often? Ha! Seems like every date night I have shoes scattered across my bedroom floor until I find the ones that look and FEEL the best. With this romper, I tried heels, nope. I tried flats, nope. Then I tried these gladiator sandals I purchased from Famous Footwear a couple years ago, and in my opinion, they are perfect. They play off the striped pattern on the romper. And the bling is a nice touch too!

In hopes that I would be able to wear this adorable romper as the weather starts to cool off, I tried it a couple different ways. Jean jackets are always a good addition. Heck, I have three now from the Elle line at Kohls.

Since the outfit has so much pizazz to it, I went dainty with the necklaces and skipped the bracelets. I know, I know…SO not like me to skip the bracelets. I mean, I go swimming wearing my bracelets and earrings. Ha! Nevertheless, I adore the outfit and combo I landed on!
