Smooth Fitness BadgeBy now you have seen two posts I have done based around Smooth Fitness.  And by now, I’m hoping you are wanting one of these bad boys in your home! But when doing the research, you realize it a lot to financially bite off.  I want to start this post with first saying, WHAT’S YOUR HEALTH WORTH?  I’m sure you will all say, your health is priceless.  However, you still have to pay the bills!  This post is going to have 5 ways you can save up to get a machine of your own.  So let’s get on with it!

  1. Large spare change jar.  Any change that you get throughout your day, whether it’s in your purse, your car or via a drive through window.  Bring it home and place it in the jar.  You will be amazed at how fast money can add up.  To spice up your jar, add a fun picture of the Smooth Fitness Elliptical or Treadmill you have your eye on!spare change jar for smooth blogger
  2. Have a garage sale!
  3. Visit a consignment shop with clothes that you no longer need.  Try your luck at selling on craigslist as well! Save that money and put it in your spare change jar (see #1)
  4. Skip the drive through, whether it’s for coffee or for food.  Imagine the amount of money you would save!  The average person spends way too much doing the drive through weekly, Plan a little better, grab some healthier food and prep it at home instead!IMG_9542
  5. Practice a little self denial and delayed gratification.  Put off some purchases for a few months so you can save that money and make your large, awesome, getting healthier purchase when the time is right!

Now you are on your way – the thumbs up to the right is for YOU!  You can do it 🙂

So talk to me!  What ideas do you have to save some money so you can buy your dream elliptical or treadmill??

Great ideas! We have Euro here and the coins are actually large amounts but we never notice because we are so use to using quarters, dimes, nickles. Well after finding all our “loose” change, we had around 60 Euro! LOL. So yes, loose change, in any denomination, can add up!
