the perfect summer shirt for mom from matilda jane :: on serious sale!

I have a serious love for the brand Matilda Jane. I don’t know what it is. Maybe the fun patterns, the mixing of colors, the comments we get every time we wear it. I don’t know, but I am constantly purchasing it for myself and my girls. One of their most recent releases, again, had me.

It always surprises me too that women who know of the brand, and purchase it for their little ones, don’t know that there is a women’s line. Just yesterday I was talking to a friend and she was all like…

WHERE HAVE I BEEN!?!??!

They release new lines a few times per year, and that keeps me on my toes. There always seems to be a few items that either myself or my daughters NEED. Ha!

With summer comes busy and HOT days, so I’m always looking for items for myself that will fit into that schedule. I received a couple items from Matilda Jane that I wanted to share with you. You can actually pick two of the three things I’m sharing with you today via their Good Luck Trunk Sale. This is a special sale they do a couple times a year where they mark down their inventory to make way for new! I actually just bought some more yesterday too, how can I resist. He he!

The Bewitching Top from Matilda Jane is lightweight, colorful and the sleeves are just right. I love all of that about this top. This top would look great all on it’s own being the piece you center your outfits around. You could easily wear this with denim capris and a cardigan…or for winter, some jeans and again, a darker colored cardigan. Year round use out of this, I love it!

I have always been intrigued by ruffle pants. I think they might be the cutest pants around!! My girls have a ton of them, but I have had only one pair, in a tan color. That really limits how you wear them. I was sent the Aubrey Cropped Ruffles from Matilda Jane and again, they are the softest things ever!! But, what I love about them is the color. These can seriously go with everything! I’m still trying to figure out all the options, but for now, I’m basically wearing them all the time. Cute and put together without a lot of work.  I love it!
