My daughter and I have been having tea parties since she was about two years old (and I have the pictures to prove it!). My favorite tea party memories involve her loading me up with her favorite jewelry and a sparkly tiara to complete my princess look. I swear she would spend more time setting up the tea party than the time we took to actually have one. Things haven’t changed much, now that I think about it. Except that now her tea parties usually involve her little brother (he is such a good sport), a slew of stuffed animals, and a fairly substantial mess to clean up afterwards. Comes with the territory, right? Well, JAKKS Pacific Toys (a SIMPLE favorite, as you know) has rolled out a new line just for your little princess: the Whimsy & Wonder line. Oh, it is so magical!!

My little hostess got to put on a most spectacular affair with the Whimsy & Wonder Tea Set and all of her favorite stuffed friends….with a seat of honor for her newest addition, her Princess Pal Plush Puppy, of course. And to top it off, she got all dolled up with her very own Whimsy & Wonder Dress (seriously, I want one for myself!!). As is our custom, we set up our tea party with very particular attention to the details while making sure all of the tea cups were full of “blueberry tea” (aka water). My favorite part was seeing her eyes light up as we got to share in the fun together (which made me yearn for my “stay-at-home-mom” days all over again). Her imagination shone through as we turned water into delicious offering for all of her guests and colored blocks into food they could all enjoy with their tea.
