sterlinglogoThe older I get, the harder time I have shopping for my mom. She already has everything! Thankfully Sterling Publishing has something for every mom.  From those who love to read, cook, collect and even color, there are amazing new titles out there for everyone!

thesummertableThe Summer Table by Lisa Lemke is the perfect way to usher in the new season with fresh food ideas.  Lisa Lemke is a Swedish television chef, food consultant and recipe developer and her book is filled with recipes, tips and ideas for simple, delicious dishes.  Now that the grill is out and ready to be used, I’m ready to change up my typical menu and take advantage of the local farmer’s markets to celebrate the best of spring and summer.   Lisa has ideas for menus for summer parties and barbecues, lunches and brunches and even unexpected picnic ideas.  This book is full-color and has me so excited to entertain this summer.  Do you have any favorite summer recipes?

animalkingdomHow many of you love to color along when your kids are coloring?  I don’t know what it is, but I love the de-stress that comes along with coloring and doodling.  Animal Kingdom by Millie Marotta is an adult coloring book filled with intricate designs and patterns.  Even just the black and white drawings are so gorgeous I’m tempted to frame a few of them!   Some of the pictures fill the entire page and others leave space for you to add your own doodles.  It’s not surprising that the book was on back order when I first ordered it several weeks ago.  It is flying off the shelves.

theseashellcollectorEvery summer, my family spends time at the beach.  My son and I love to walk on the beach and collect shells and sea glass.  I’ve already picked out a special boxed set for our trip this year–The Seashell Collector.  This set comes with a journal, a treasure box with dividers to store shells and other fun finds, postcards and an illustrated booklet featuring types of shells and an overview on conchcology (did you even know that was a thing?)  I can’t wait to fill that up with memories with my little guy.

Sterling Publishing has countless titles, from nonfiction to fiction, for kids through adults–even puzzle books, postcards and journals.  I can’t wait to start filling my shelves with more books from Sterling!  Check out the catalogs from Sterling Publishing and tell me what’s on your wish list.
