Why did the turkey cross the road twice?
(To prove he wasn’t chicken!)

I need to take a quick moment to interrupt our #aSIMPLEchristmas event to share our turkey shirts from www.spreadshirt.com. Thanksgiving is an important holiday in our family. My mother-in-law makes it a really special day. We even have a yearly competition where we have a Thanksgiving Rubber Duck race in their pool. (Don’t forget, I’m in CA. I grew up in the Midwest so these duck races in a pool that isn’t frozen over is really something to wrap my mind around!) The winner takes home the BIG duck for the year. Then they bring it back for the next person to win.
annual duck race collageThis year, my Annabelle and I are going to sport our Turkey shirts for extra good luck in the race. How could we not win with such enthusiasm? Speaking of Annabelle, she calls it her chicken shirt. I love her. We are really hoping to bring home the big duck this year.
spreadshirt turkey shirtsSpread Shirt has a really user friendly website and a broad selection of cute and clever shirts. Lots of variety of styles too. I have washed our “chicken” shirts a few times and they are keeping their shape. I did order one size larger for my shirt and that has worked well for me.  It’s a great site if you want to order 1 shirt or 100. I forgot to add that you can make customized shirts and they have more customizable items in addition to shirts. It’s worth taking a peek.

I’ll leave you with this cute idea for clever t-shirts at Christmas. Be sure to check out Spread Shirt. They have a lot of really great items on their site.

What a great idea. I’ll have to check them out. Maybe we can start a family tradition by wearing the same kind of shirts/design for Thanksgiving or Christmas here.
