My kids will be on Spring Break in exactly 6 weeks. And I’m completely conflicted!
On one hand, after all of the Snow Days we’ve had since January 1, more days off is the last thing my kids need (or want). On the other hand, I look forward to the break from our regular schedule and, although no travel plans are set in stone, I’m craving a little impromptu family getaway!
Regardless if you’re staying home this Spring Break or jet-setting off to somewhere fabulous, you need to be prepared! Bored kids = irritating kids = no fun for you or them!
One of our favorite apps, whether we are traveling or declaring it a lazy pajama day, is Disney Junior Appisodes.
I’ve shared with you before how much I love this app (here and here). It’s a really fun way for my kids to enjoy some of their favorite Disney Junior characters in their full-length episodes on your iPad or iPhone. And they love the fun, interactive ‘extras’ throughout each appisode!
The latest addition to the Disney Junior Appisodes line-up has quickly become our favorite. Get ready for Sofia the First: Great Aunt-Venture!
Your kids will join Sofia in her second appisode as she {reluctantly} agrees to help her Aunt Tilly bake a pie. But, as always with Sofia, a simple task turns into an adventure! Aside from enjoying the adorable video, your kids will love helping Sofia navigate the flower maze, collect apples, “make” the pie, and more!
If you’re looking for a great way to pass the time this Spring Break, traveling or not, Sofia the First: Great Aunt-Venture appisode is a great way to do it! Kids will enjoy watching it over and over again! And, the best part about the Disney Appisodes is that, after they have been downloaded to your iPad, there’s no need for an internet connection, which makes it perfect for in the car, on the plane or sitting in the airport!
And, if you haven’t checked out Disney Junior Appisodes yet, be sure to browse some of the other appisode downloads, including:
