sequins and black cats :: review with monthly outfit picks

disclaimer no giveaway
You know I’m a fan of Fab Kids. It’s obvious as I continue to share each month’s picks that are part of the subscription. So, I wanted to mix it up and tell you 5 reasons why you should check out Fab Kids if you haven’t already. At the bottom, I will share yet another choice we received from our subscription box! Again, a stellar pick! So, let’s get on with it!

  1. The word is getting around! I ran in to a gal at the gym about two months ago, and her daughter had on a dress that my daughter has from Fab Kids. I asked her about it and she told me she heard about it through a mommy blog. 1724012_713326222034664_900139883_nTurns out, it was our blog she first read about this clothing subscription service. Every now and then I see more outfits out and about – kinda fun. Like an inner club πŸ™‚
  2. GREAT selection! Every month there are fabulous picks that you and/or your child can pick from. Boys, Girls, dresses, leggings, plaid shirts…
  3. You can pass – easy peasy!! If you don’t care for an outfit from your selections from Fab Kids for the month, just pass on that month! You will get your choices again for the following month, but new clothes to pick from.
  4. Prices are great! The prices aren’t only great for the subscription service, but when you sign up to get the emails, you are notified of specials going on. I picked up about $250 worth of clothes for under $100 when they had their end of summer clearance. Can’t beat that! Plus, they have been having some weekend only specials, and we have grabbed some of those too!
  5. Customer service is awesome! I will come back or completely stop purchasing through a site if their customer service is not top notch. I’ve never had an issue that wasn’t resolved immediately with Fab Kids. And for that, I will sing their praises from the mountain tops!

Ok, have I convinced you yet? If you still need a little more oomph, check out this super fun outfit that my oldest has worn a handful of times now. She LOVED the cat face as soon as she saw it. I love that we are getting a ton of use out of the outfits! The skirt she received could be worn with a multitude of shirts. The shirt, the same. With jeans, leggins and this skirt. Mix and match with previous months too, so fun! Gives my daughter a fun sense of style knowing she can put together her own clothes, and wins because it looks awesome!

The clothes do look nice, especially the skirts. Living in Florida, my daughter mostly wears shorts, skorts, dresses, and t-shirts. Our fabric of choice is cotton. I always try to get her versatile pieces.

I’ve always been somewhat wary of subscription-type programs. In the past, I’ve had memberships in book clubs and music clubs and suffered the consequences of not responding to the pick-of-the-month.

I like Fabkids but I would like them to add more pants to their collections. We have pretty cold winters and a skirt and leggings is just not enough.

I did see when I was on the site today that they had jeggings! I wasn’t exactly looking for pants, but I did notice that. Maybe they will continue adding colder weather clothes too!!
