say hello to florals for #springfashion + how 10 bloggers styled it too

Oh what fun it is to try something new! Not only a ‘new to me’ company, but something fun and fresh for spring. Have you started to see the flowers and green grass sprouting through the brown yuck on the ground? We have started seeing it here in Michigan and such hope that gives us that snow is gone for now!

With all that in mind, I have teamed up with some fabulous and super, duper bloggers to showcase what’s to come in the outside world and inspire you in your closet too. We are talking fashion today. Below you can see what I have done as well as all these fabulous ladies’ blogs too. Be sure to pop over and check them out!

Florals Collage

Ok, so on with the fun!

I’m kinda completely obsessed with florals this season. Thinking back, I don’t know if I have always been a fan or if it’s recent. For now, I’ll go with the trendy side and say it’s new lol! However, looking back at SIMPLE’s Instagram (and my personal Instagram) there is definitely a pattern.

I saw this fun floral tee from Hello Apparel and I knew it was one to play around with. Not only would this be super cute alone, but how cool with a fun heavy, statement necklace for the summer time and maybe mint colored shorts? Or for the colder times, I layered it with the denim shirt shown. I picked this up at a consignment store. I have found some great layering items at consignment stores…you know, when I have the time. It’s SO much easier to shop online though. Take Hello Apparel for example! Easy peasy, super cute and fun selection and it gets delivered direct. Yup, loving that.

I have to mention, before I go any further…there is an awesome 50% off section over at Hello Apparel. Yah, about that…

I did order a medium in this only because I was going for a “boyfriend” type fit. I still have a bit of a baby belly from baby #4 so I’m not one to wear tight fitting clothes still. Ha! I could have done a small as this is more of a men’s cut. Also, the sleeves on the shirt aren’t super short, so again, I like that because it’s more “flowy” per say and shows off the areas I like instead of the ones I don’t. LOL! What I love about Hello Apparel though is they tell what type of fit the shirt is. It makes it very easy to shop for.

The other look that was casual and comfy was something I put together on the fly. Yet, I was sent this awesome crossbody saddle bag from Vera Bradley and thought it was a great addition. If you look close, the crossbody has a bit of floral flare to it as well with the laser cut design. Swoon – seriously! I am loving tunics paired with distressed skinnies right now too. So, there’s that. I think tunics, if they are the right ones, can be very flattering. And on the floral kick, yes…the hidden design is that. I also added the floral necklace with simple dangle earrings to finish the look.

The crossbody is actually quite close in color to the flowers in the tunic. Doesn’t seem like it in the images in the post, maybe because there is SO much of the purse and the flowers are so little? I don’t know…but I loved them together!

All right, so talk to me! What are YOU thinking of the florals in this post? Would you check out what Hello Apparel has to offer and/or add some florals to YOUR closet this Spring?

And simply because she’s adorable and is loving the florals as well, I’ll leave you with this…
