We all know the phrase, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.” The reason we all know it is because it is true. The perfect jewelry can make or break an outfit. The right amount of sparkle can bring out the color of your eyes. A lack of accessories can make even the loveliest lady seem plain. And while diamonds may last forever, our day-to-day jewelry does not have to. Some of my very favorite pieces are ones I have gotten for under $10 at my favorite boutique: Charming Charlie. They have truly charmed my socks right off.

My mom lives in Tennessee and has been a fan of Charming Charlie for a while. My local Michigan mall has only been blessed with a Charming Charlie of its own for just over a year now but has fast become my one-stop shop for accessories on a mom budget (plus their ‘tiara’ section has kept me and my 6 year-old daughter entertained for the better part of an hour. That is good quality girl time right there). One of the things that I love about Charming Charlie is the wide variety they have. I am a 30-something-ish mom (that cat stays IN THE BAG) and I can find oodles of age-appropriate accessories in the same amount of time my daughter can find an equal amount of items she loves (truth be told, she has this shopping thing DOWN). Bracelets, necklaces, rings, sunglasses, earrings….a girl can get used to this kind of treatment.

Truth be told, with fashion as ever-changing as it is, I don’t want to spend a pretty penny on my bling. I want something that I can LOVE for a season or two or even 10 and still be fine if I only wear it once because I didn’t break the bank. But the BEST thing about Charming Charlie is that even though most of their pieces are under $15, they are quality items that stand the test of time. Cute, trendy and sturdy….a charming combination! Through Monday, all handbags are on sale for $10. TEN DOLLARS. I am heading there today…how about you??
