When you bring a dog into your home and he becomes part of your family, you begin to notice their behaviors. Quirky behaviors. And you begin to wonder, is there something wrong with him?

The whole “having to go around in a circle three times before laying down” thing? Or when he comes in a room and just stares at you and you are baffled as to what he wants because he has food, water and just went outside? Or his obsession with always sitting or laying on top of the other dog?

But then you talk to other dog-people and you quickly realize that, Nope! You’re dog is no crazier than the rest!

Phebe-n-Me has taken all these adorable (and sometimes maddening) dog quirks and created this very fun line of hand-drawn original tees.

 

Lorena, a graphic designer by trade, began drawing her lovable Phebe when she was just a puppy. As her collection of drawing grew, so did the idea of adding them to tees, totes, hats and more. Lorena draws and redraws each design until it’s just right. Then the drawings are hand silk-screened to hand-dyed tees. And the end result is just adorable!

 

I absolutely love so many of the Phebe-n-Me designs! But my favorites are Best Friends Forever and Patience, because they remind me of our Jasper and Dexter. Of course a drawing of them passing gas and then looking around like they don’t know where it came from would be pretty accurate, too! Or how, despite being 60 and 90 pounds, they truly believe they are lap dogs!

 

Anyhow, back to the tees 🙂 Not only are the designs adorable, but the quality of the printing and tee themselves are absolutely great! Also, because they believe in giving back, a portion of the sales from Phebe-n-Me goes to helping animals in bad situations. I love that!
