logoNow that I have two kids in school, that means two snacks to pack.  Going through that many ziploc bags a day seems to be a bit much.

When itzy ritzy, contacted me to try out their Snack Happens reuseable snack bags, I knew it would be the perfect solution for not using plastic bags.

These reusable, machine washable bags are great for snacks, sandwiches, fruit, school lunches, mini first aid kits, cell phones, car & plane trips, crayons, toiletries, iPods, cameras, hiking, camping, travel, beach gear & more. The uses are unlimited as you can tell.  I love that they are on the larger size, so you can have multiple uses for it.

  • FDA approved, BPA Free, Lead Free, PVC Free
  • Measured 7-inches by 7-inches, so pretty large for a snack bag
  • Machine wash in cold water with like colors, no bleach, line dry recommended.
  • 100% cotton fabric exterior
  • Zipper closure and PVC free waterproof lining

The owls were our favorite so my daughter has been using these for her snacks and just loves it.  It’s so different and unique to have her snack it in. She tells me she shows her classmates everyday.  I think she is pretty excited about it.  Not to mention that it is very eco-friendly and we are saving on plastic bags.

Itzy Ritzy also has a breastfeeding infinite scarf I have had my eye on since I saw my friend using it.  I will definitely be trying that out when baby comes.

Do your kids have to bring snacks to school? Do you use reusable bags?  Which would you chose from itzy ritzy?
