meal planning made simple :: review

Several weeks ago I shared about a meal-planning service called emeals. I’m still using it and have had the chance to try out several of the different plans: classic meals, clean eating, slow cooker clean eating, and Mediterranean. The slow cooker clean eating one was really helpful during soccer season because after a cold, windy night at the field, it was heavenly to come home to a nice, warm dinner. And all of the recipes tasted great! The clean eating one was nice and simple, but still flavorful. The Mediterranean plan is full of recipes with olives and orzo and olive oil. Rich and filling.I made this same salad last night but today's is much better because I remembered to add the olives! #onedayhhThis is one of the yummy salads that was listed as a side dish one night. The dressing was a quick and easy homemade vinaigrette that was per.fect. It was so yummy I made the same salad for lunch the next day. Onions and olives and tomatoes and cucumbers and goat cheese. Mercy!

I tried to come up with one reason why I love eMeals and the word I kept coming back to was SIMPLE. Emeals is simple to use on your desktop, tablet, or mobile device. It is full of simple, but delicious recipes. It simplifies life by saving you from the time and hassle of making a weekly menu and creating a shopping list. And it does those things while making sure you get the most for your money coordinating your meal plan with weekly sales at selected stores!

Since I last posted about emeals, I’ve had a chance to talk to a few other SIMPLE readers who are using the meal-planning service. Leann, a mom of two small boys and a SIMPLE reader, says of eMeals: “After having our second child, meal planning was a must. Emeals has been so helpful to me. My husband can help with grocery shopping because we can use the same app when we are out and about without our grocery list. The meals have been good, too. We started out on the clean eating plan but switched to Mediterranean and have loved it even more. Managing our preferences online has been so simple!”

And Nichole, another SIMPLE reader, says: “I love the quality and variety of the recipes in the “Clean Eating” plan. I love trying new recipes, and getting a regular batch of reliably good ones in my inbox every week is a nice treat.”

What a great idea! Not only do I love the idea of getting new recipes that are reliably good to try, but I also love that you can change your preferences of what you are wanting to eat. The Slow cooker meals sounds like they would be perfect for us
