We all know that “Breast is Best” but let us face facts. Breastfeeding is not always the easiest, most convenient, or least stressful choice we can make to feed our babies. As one of those moms who didn’t always find nursing to be easy, simple, and a joy means that I take any help I can get with the whole process.

imageMy not so simple breastfeeding journey is best summed up with my second child. After a week of nursing with relative ease, my baby decided that she needed to cluster feed in the every hour during the middle of the night. She would nurse for 6-8 minutes and then it was bedtime again. While she could go back to sleep I was awake all the time and LOSING. MY. MIND. One quick conversation with my husband and I switched to pumping. The very next feeding my dear baby took a 4-ounce bottle before sleeping for 6 hours straight and from there on out it was exclusive pumping for us.

image This time around I know I will be flexible to a combination of nursing and pumping and that whatever works will be the “XYZ is Best” for us. With this mindset I’ve put myself on the search for nursing bras that are convenient for both nursing and pumping.

Have you seen BeliBea and their Nourish nursing/pumping bra before? It is amazing! First of all, the seamless stretch fit and plush-lined adjustable straps make the Nourish by BeliBea extremely comfortable while still supporting the girls (ya know what I mean?). FYI: that stretch fit makes it possible for the Nourish by BeliBea to accommodate “the ongoing changing fullness of your breasts.”

imageOne of my favorite things about the Nourish was how easy it was to unhook the cups for either nursing and/or hands-free pumping. It only takes one hand to unhook the cups and you can even nurse on one side while you simultaneously hands-free pump on the other! (Because nobody should have to do the hokey-pokey to get themselves into or out of their nursing bra!)

I can’t wait to use my Nourish by BeliBea bra after my little one arrives in a few weeks as I master the art of simultaneous hands-free pumping and nursing. Grab one for yourself if you too want to join the club of momma multi-tasker extraordinaires!

I wish nursing bras were this nice 30+ years ago! Looks like a comfortable one, too.

I had to almost exclusively pump with my first baby, and I seriously wish I would have had something like this. I eventually got a hands-free pumping bra, but it was a pain to switch back and forth between that and a nursing bra every time I had to pump. I’m going to remember this brand for my nursing/pumping friends!

I love the design and would be fantastic for nursing. I always had trouble finding a comfortable nursing bra, love that it has stretch fit.
