I have had a few foot surgeries.  Since those surgeries, I have to be very picky when it comes to the shoes I choose to put on my feet. I want to introduce you to a brand that I met while in Chicago this past summer.  It’s called Vionic and it’s not only fashionable but great for your feet.  Let me tell you a little more about them, and then I’ll show you what I got!

2013 was a big year for Orthaheel Footwear as they began a re-branding and re-design, which led to Vionic (and encompassed Orthaheel Technology).  It’s the best of both worlds now – fashion and science in a shoe!  It’s not only a women’s line, but they carry men’s shoes too!  The shoes are designed by podiatrist Phillip Vasyli.  Fashionable shoes being designed by a podiatrist?  Yes please!

Now that you know a little on the background on Vionic, I’ll share my new shoes.  I received Vionic’s Olivia flats in Metallic Leopard and love them! They offer these shoes in a black pattern as well, but my heart went pitter patter when I saw them in leopard.  Being pregnant, I definitely don’t feel “spicy” right now, and I though these shoes would be the perfect accessory to aid with my maternity fashion choices.  Look how they shine!The shoes are made with comfort and good vibes for you.  There is a ton of support – these aren’t the shoes you can pick up at your local supermarket.  These have a lot more goodness made in them and will last a lot longer too.  When I first placed the shoes on my feet, they were a bit snug.  But I soon realized they were snug because they were supporting my feet more than I am used to.  That being said, I typically wear between a 9.5 and a 10, and the 10 fits me perfectly 🙂

There are so many more styles over on Vionic, you have to stop over and see them!  Now knowing how good they are for your feet, I hope you spend a little extra time there too!
