let brylane home swing you away too :: review

Yesterday was my oldest daughter’s last day of school.  It’s OFFICIALLY summer break over here! I couldn’t be more happy! We love to be together and play outside. Seems the girls wake in the morning asking if they can go play outside. That means lots of playing and/or watching. Since I have a brand new babe, the watching is higher this year than the playing. I was on Brylane Home and noticed they had a gorgeous swing that I knew had my name all over it. Not only is it a swing made for 2+ people, but it has a ton of COVER which is oh so important since I’ll be cradling my babe so much this summer.  I mean, she has to be outside and get the fresh air too! 🙂

We sent this up a few weeks ago. My husband had the undertaking of assembly. It really wasn’t too intense either! He laid all the pieces out in the front yard, a sight to see as you can imagine. Once it was together, we brought it to our back yard and at that point, my neighbor asked where we got this from and pleaded with us not to show his wife lol! Needless to say, she saw it and may or may not be purchasing one for herself 🙂

We have it nicely placed in our backyard near the trampoline and swing set. My neighbor and I have already spend hours on it watching our little ones make memories in the back yard.

I simply love the swing.  It’s plenty big enough for 2 adults and children. 3 small adults can even fit! The construction is great. It’s quality. However, given the great canopy, it does NOT stand a good wind storm. We found that out very quickly when we had a storm pop up and couldn’t get it out of the storm in time.
