jambu kd shoes :: perfect summer shoes for active kids

My kids are always moving.  And now that school is done, they are even more active.  We’ve always had a hard time finding a good summer shoe that allows kids to really play.  Flip flops and Crocs fall off.  Socks and sneakers are difficult to take on and off for trampolines, sprinklers and mud–and make for hot and sweaty feet at the end of the day.  We recently discovered JambuKD kids shoes.

JambuKD shoes are lightweight and can be worn with or without socks.  My son chose a pair that are breathable and vegan, so they dry quickly if they get wet (and, of course, they do). He loves the bright scale print.  How fun is that neon green?  The first time he wore these shoes, I dropped him off at a friend’s house and he immediately received compliments on his “super cool” shoes.  Not only do they look cool, but they function more like sneakers than a typical sandal so they are perfect for playing.  Just a note:  the insole is removable which is great for washing if your kids get stinky feet like mine do!  But if your child gets frustrated by the insole coming out, you can just glue it in!

My daughter also chose a pair perfect for outdoor play, but the Mary Jane style looks adorable with casual dresses, too.  I love that she can have a shoe that supports her feet without looking clunky.  She loves that the purple mesh fabric has a bit of sparkle and shine.  Just like my son, those shoes got compliments right away.  It’s not easy to find a kids shoe that is functional and fashionable.  I found that her particular style (the Fia 2) runs a bit big, so you may want to size down.
