Hi, my name is Shanda and I like to snack. I’ll admit it…. When I’m sitting and relaxing at night, there is usually some form of salty, crunchy goodness sitting next to me. I’ve polished off a bag of chips without even noticing a time or two! Haha…

Thank goodness for a healthier alternative! I do not have to feel as guilty with a bag of Harvest Snaps sitting next to me.

Harvest SnapsHarvest Snaps are a naturally delicious line of baked snacks that have all the flavor and are less fat and lower in sodium than traditional snacks. They are available in two vegetable types, Snapea Crisps and Lentil Snaps.  Snapea Crisps are made from naturally dried peas, which make up 70% of the product ,while Lentil Snaps are made from 65% Lentils and contain 5 g of protein and 13% of your daily fiber.

There are six different flavors: Lightly Salted, Caesar, Black Pepper, Wasabi Ranch, Tomato Basil and Onion Thyme. My personal favorite was the Caesar, but my husband on the other hand enjoyed the kick of the Wasabi Ranch. My husband is of the philosophy that ranch goes with everything, so it’s no wonder he enjoyed these. I couldn’t get past the wasabi to even notice the ranch… but hey! To each his own! If I made all food, this world would be a little bland.

If you are looking for a healthier alternative to your traditional snack foods check out Harvest Snaps! You can find them at Whole Foods, Costco, Sprouts, Walmart, Safeway, and many more.Harvest Snaps-3.3oz-CMYK-group
