gear up for the holiday season with charles viancin’s winterberry collection

charles viancin About a year ago, I walked into a quaint little store in Angola, Indiana while on a girls’ weekend. It was there that I first saw the Charles Viancin collection and instantly fell in love. Their “inspired by nature” theme drew my eye right away, from their flowery silicone lids to their decadent aprons. Their products span from drink markers to potholders, towels, bottle stoppers and more! Recently, I was asked to check out Charles Viancin’s holiday-themed winterberry line and I jumped at the opportunity.

I got to check out two silicone lids and a set of drink markers. Now, let me start off by saying that anyone with little ones NEEDS to invest in these silicone lids. I used to go through an inordinate amount of aluminum foil in order to keep dinner warm while my husband and I corralled the children to the table, cut up their food, filled their waters, etc. Now all I do is flop a silicone lid on there and I am good to go. Plus they are super cute, which is really a bonus for me (and my two daughters, who love pretty things as much as I do). These lids create an airtight seal on any smooth-rimmed surface, locking in all that right-out-of-the-oven warmth. They are microwave and dishwasher safe (clutch!) and can be used up to temperatures of 428°, which means they are great for preventing hot food from splattering while cooking. winterberry

Now, the drink markers are a bit less of a necessity, but still a must-have (see the difference??). How many times do you step away from your wine glass, only to return wondering, “Wait, which one was mine again?” We’ve all been there. They, too, are made from food-grade silicone and have a strong little suction cup on the back to keep them in place. They are easy-peasy to pop on and don’t fall off unless you un-suction them. Like I said, a must-have, especially coming up on the entertaining season!

Head over to their website and shop by category or by inspiration to explore all they have to offer. They have a few great sale items going on right now as well! A word of warning: try not to spend all your Christmas money on yourself….although we both know you deserve it! Check out their entire holiday line here.
