fresh wave :: back to school teacher gift :: giveaway

disclaimer giveaway

The days of summer are dwindling and it won’t be long before we send our stinky kids off to school. I am quite thankful for the teachers that invest their lives and time into my mini me’s. It takes a special person to close themselves into a room with 20 children each day. I know it’s stressful at times, the air gets stale, and kids can smell. That’s why I like to welcome my teachers back with a practical gift that will help their year start out fresh. Fresh Wave is great at combating random smells and keeping a space smelling natural (in a good way).

Back to School Gift

Have you ever wondered why the apple is associated with teaching? I did a little googling today and found some random theories. Apples are a FALL fruit and often farmers would pay in produce for goods and services. Children were sent to school with an apple to pay the teacher. Also, teachers notoriously had low wages so it was a practical and nutritious gift for a teacher to receive an apple. Of course the apple is also associated with Eve in the Garden of Eden. I suppose it would make sense that a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge is appropriate for the person giving children daily wisdom.

Consider sending your kids off to school this year with a thoughtful and practical gift for the new teacher. This old-fashioned gesture gives charming vibes and happy feels. Make a positive impression on a day that sometimes can represent apprehension and anxiety for new students and teachers getting to know one another. Freshwave products will be a sure way to start everyone out on the right foot.

Back to School with Freshwave

Fresh Wave PodFresh Wave has a whole line of amazing products. However, I want to focus on the 3 that would make for a great gift in the classroom.

  • Odor Removing Gel: If a teacher keeps this on their desk, it will act as a force field against smells. It tackles the toughest odors and removes them from the air. The gel will evaporate after 30-60 days. Have no fear, Target carries it when more is needed!
  • Odor Removing Packs: These are discreet odor fighting weapons. Place them in smelly cubbies, near the trash, with gym equipment, etc.  These are great for any small space with a big odor.
  • Fresh Pod: This is Odor Pack’s good friend. The pod can be placed on any flat surface. Simply fill the pod with an odor removing pack and let it do it’s thing. Replace the pack every 30 days. These are fabulous in and near bathrooms and trash cans.

Happy, Healthy, Odor-Free

Fresh Wave is safe, it works well, and it’s made of all-natural ingredients. It doesn’t mask or over power a scent, it neutralizes the odor. I’ve been using Fresh Wave products in my home for years! This is a generous company that has been in business over 20 years. Fresh Wave is giving away a gift basket of goodies to one special teacher. You can enter to win this gift for a favorite teacher in your life.

Mr Matthews is ‘old school’ and down to earth. Knows his subject incredibly well, it is his love really. Is really refreshing in the class setting with his trademark blunt and open approach and no great hanger-on of ceremony and a penchant for jokes.

With 3 children between 5 and 16 we have been through a LOT of teachers, but none have been even close to how amazing my youngest son’s pre-K teacher was the last 2 years. My son went from a quiet, shy little boy who was behind in speech due to frequent ear infections into a confident, well spoken, chatty little boy! He was starting to read before leaving Pre-K. His teacher was AMAZING!!!
