a simple diy :: diffuser necklace

Fall is my favorite time of the year because of all the beautiful colors. I recently had a request for a diffuser necklace for a child and thought a zebra print would be perfect for a little girl! Puffy Sculpey is especially fun for children! Clay is a great medium to put essential oils on, and the oils will stay on the surface for several days. This necklace is perfect for Essential Oil Recipes for the Classroom: Clear Mind, A+ Students, Full Focus, Study Time, and Stress Less you can find them here.

Step 3 :: Add your texture to the clay shape by using a stamp or texture sheet. Make sure to add a hole so that you can put the leather cord through it.

Step 4 :: Set your oven to 275 degrees. Place the clay pieces on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven for 45 minutes. It depends on the thickness 15 minutes per 6 mm.

Step 5 :: Once it has a chance to cool off you can then paint the clay if you choose to. Once the paint dries be sure to seal it.

Step 6 :: Add you leather cording by looping it through the front first then bring the extra cord through the loop before you tighten it.  Then bring both ends together to tie a knot.

How do you use an essential oil diffuser necklace?  You add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil or blend to the back of your necklace.  This way you can inhale the smell as you need it.  You can purchase your oils here.
