I have been interested in Artist Resin for some time now and finally started experimenting with it a couple of months ago. I featured the Aloha Kit and the Aloha E-Course from Ann Upton on the blog, and I have been experimenting every since. If you have a creative person on your Christmas List this year this is the company to check out. They have E-Courses if the person on your list has never used Artist Resin to walk them through the process step-by-step.

Artist Resin 8oz

The Artist Resin 8oz Kit includes (1) 4oz Artist Resin Part A and (1) 4oz Part B Hardener. Artist Resin will produce a crystal-clear, glass-like finish that enhances and protects your artwork. The resin is VOC free, and highly UV resistant. This 8oz kit covers approximately 2 square feet. For those of you that are not very good with measurements this is enough for several small projects.

Gilda

Gilda is a bright and brilliant gold mica. When combined with resin it will appear to look like liquid gold. Thick compacted applications result in light bright gold metallic body while non-compacted applications create a variety of gold dark and light hues. A gold shimmer is present in all applications and strengthens with the applications thickness and light intensity.

Crystalline (Small) – Glass

These polished painted crystalline glass pieces are the perfect addition to any piece of artwork! They contend with the look of naturally occurring crystals and stones. These are perfect for the geode look! I decide to try them in my creation along the boarder of the white. The average length of the glass pieces are 1/8″ – 1/4″ in length and width.
