best of 2016 :: a few of my favorite things

disclaimer no giveaway
Over the course of a year, I check out a lot of products.  Some of those products I find myself using over and over and over again.  They become my favorite things.  And I feel compelled to share them with you once again.  I have not been compensated in any way for this “best of” post–I am simply sharing a few things that deserve some extra praise!

Clothes

Hands down, my favorite brand for little ones is Jojo Maman Bébé.  Y’all, I can’t get enough.  The clothes are beyond adorable and they wear like steel.  Need I say more?  Seriously, this little man gets compliments every single time he wears one of these gorgeous outfits.  And his coat and snowpants are keeping him warm even in the frigid cold we’ve had here lately.

Food

This one was a challenge to narrow down.  Mainly because I love food!  But here is what we use and love the most at our house.

Mamma Chia.  I love these power-packed seeds and put them in everything from smoothies to oatmeal.  Not only do I love the seeds, but my youngest cannot get enough of the Mamma Chia pouches.  Besides straight-up junk food, this is his favorite snack.  And it’s SO good for him so it’s an easy one to say yes to!

Dinnertime is a big deal at our house.  Most nights, we’re able to eat as a family and it’s important to me that I serve healthy meals.  This is where Green Chef is a lifesaver.  I love that Green Chef enables me to get a healthy, organic meal on the table even in our very busy household.  It’s a time saver–no pinning recipes, no shopping (can I get an amen?) and detailed recipes that let me know how long I need to get dinner on the table (hint:  it’s generally around 30 minutes)

Home Goods

I’ve shared Nora Fleming a few times as my favorite gift to give a mom or mother-in-law.  But if you want to spoil yourself, this is a great way, too!  Seriously, every Christmas cookie looks better on a Nora Fleming tray (but if you must know the extent of my obsession, I also have a pasta bowl, salt and pepper shakers, an appetizer tray, hand soap pump and a 9×13 pan.  And I won’t even go into details about my minis.  Just love it all.)  If you’re a super last-minute holiday shopper or have some Christmas money to spend, check the store locator to see where Nora is sold near you!

Toys

One toy ALL of my kids play with is Magnetic Stick N Stack.  My 4-year-old loves to make garages for all of his Hot Wheels cars.  My older kids like to build the tallest tower or work on whole towns with their friends.  This is also one of the few toys that I actually enjoy playing with, too!   I can honestly say I will these forever–as in save them for my grandkids!

I’ve shared many times how much my daughter loves crafts.  We cannot get enough of the craft kits from Ann Williams Group.  What I love is that crafts are made easier with the kits–something that would have taken me forever to work through with my daughter, she can often do on her own.  And several of the kits come with 2 or 3 crafts so they are perfect to have on hand for playdates!
