School is back in full swing now in most places! I love this time of year. Right now for us school itself doesn’t mean many changes for our family, since I’m not teaching and my kids haven’t reached school age yet, but I still love this time of year when we get back into the routines of life. I do love that we get to hang on to some elements of the care free summer, but I love that our regular things start back up and we have a little structure to our days.eagle brand I love seeing all the back to school things at the stores, and I love all the first days of school posts of all those kids starting up a new year of learning. It’s hard to believe that next year we will begin the days of school with our family. Time really does go by too fast!

The beginning of the year is an exciting time, but it is also a big adjustment time for many kids and families. New schools, new classes, and new teachers are big changes and sometimes take a little time getting used to. School days can be long, especially for little ones, so sometimes those first few weeks can be hard on everyone. I remember loving days when we would come home to a special after school treat from my mom! I can remember the smell of cookies or something else I knew she made special for us at the end of the day!
