a new fairy for your little princess :: review

My youngest daughter is in LOVE with Tinkerbell.  Like, LOVES her! Her little hands are constantly carrying around her stuffed Tinkerbell as she travels everywhere with us.  When we first saw the trailer for the newest Fairies movie within that collection, all my girls screamed. But, my youngest did the most dancing around!

From the world of “Peter Pan” comes “The Pirate Fairy,” a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook himself…

We have watched this movie so many times now, so many I really can’t count.  It’s just as magical as the others in the Fairies line up. This time around though, there are tiny little animals that make my girls grin from ear to ear! Each little one brings a big “awwwwww” from them while watching.  How can you not, I mean look at these adorable eyes…

The adventures around every corner will have your little ones excited to watch each scene.  I do not have one negative thing to say about this movie. I absolutely love it – my girls absolutely love it. The next time you have a movie night scheduled, put this one in the player and let your kids enjoy it fully!! I will warn you, you will be there right next to them, wondering what will happen next.  Mark my words on that one.
