a cotton dress i wish i could live in + full fun spring outfit + a new ambassador announcement! {#AventuraLife}

Two major things I’m going to share with you today. One is a love for a brand I’ve shared before. Another is a love of an outfit from a brand I’ve shared before. Starting off on a bit of a tongue twister, aren’t we. Ha! I’ve had my caffeine, so let’s get on with it. What do you want first? The good news or the good-er news? Ok… 😉

For starters, I had the opportunity to dive deep in to a brand I’ve had on the blog for a bit now, and I’m happy to say they were interested in investing in me (and YOU!!) to share some fabulous things with you throughout the year. Aventura Clothing has asked me to join forces with them to share with you all throughout 2016. This means you all will get information before others, you will see outfit ideas, giveaway announcements and so much more. I’m happy, and I hope you are too!!

If you haven’t seen anything from Aventura Clothing on here, because you are newer to our site, here’s a basic run-down of what they have to offer (through my candid eyes):

• Many items are made of organic cotton, so that means they are softer and more comfortable. YAY!
• If you are an adventurer, this brand is for you.
• Great for traveling, and great for wearing as you are running around with the kids.
• They offer a vast variety in their line — they also have a “brother brand” Ecōths! More to come on that in another post…

Now, on to the other major thing, the dress you will want to LIVE in this summer! I received the Mallory dress, and deciding the color was the first challenge. I knew I wanted to check out this dress because I, not only, loved the dress with the ribbing details, but the sleeve length was great too. I don’t do cap sleeves, and I didn’t want 3/4 length either for the upcoming warmer month. Boom, Mallory nailed it! And let’s touch on sizing real quick. I’m about an 8 right now and I ordered the medium. As you can see, fits well! The dress is actually a little shorter than I would choose, but I was liking it! And, especially with the warmer months coming, this will be a well welcomed addition to my wardrobe!

I had the opportunity to wear this dress, well the whole outfit, the other night for date night. It was the night that I ran my 1/2 marathon, so I knew I wanted to be comfortable and not be fidgeting…because HELLO SORE BODY! I added the colorful (love it!!) Holly Scarf because there was a definite chill in the air as well as the Redford Jacket. The scarf was lightweight and fantastic. And the jacket, let’s talk a little more on that.

In one word…fantastic! The Redford Jacket is available in a bajillion colors (really, it’s available in nine, just seems like a bajillion). Again, it’s a super lightweight option for the warmer months. Here in Michigan, we NEED layers. You never know what the night will hold. Heck, the day sometimes! Fit is true to size, from what I can tell. I ordered a medium. I honestly need one in every color. Ha! Which color Redford Jacket would you choose?
