Why did the turkey cross the road twice?
(To prove he wasn’t chicken!)

I need to take a quick moment to interrupt our #aSIMPLEchristmas event to share our turkey shirts from www.spreadshirt.com. Thanksgiving is an important holiday in our family. My mother-in-law makes it a really special day. We even have a yearly competition where we have a Thanksgiving Rubber Duck race in their pool. (Don’t forget, I’m in CA. I grew up in the Midwest so these duck races in a pool that isn’t frozen over is really something to wrap my mind around!) The winner takes home the BIG duck for the year. Then they bring it back for the next person to win.
This year, my Annabelle and I are going to sport our Turkey shirts for extra good luck in the race. How could we not win with such enthusiasm? Speaking of Annabelle, she calls it her chicken shirt. I love her. We are really hoping to bring home the big duck this year.

I have washed our “chicken” shirts a few times and they are keeping their shape.
