why YOU should go and see FROZEN :: movie review {@DisneyAnimation #DisneyFrozen}

**I received pre-screening tickets to facilitate this post.  All opinions are my own**

I am always very uncertain whether or not to bring my children  to see a movie in the theaters for the first time, all of us seeing it for the first time.  I typically like to preview things before they watch it with their little impressionable minds.  However, all rules went out the window with Disney’s newest in theater movie release, FROZEN. I had the opportunity to bring my two oldest girls, aged 4 and 7.  The movie is being released for everyone to see on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.  Today, I have some reasons for you why YOU SHOULD go and see the movie!!  First, a video and synopsis ::

In “Frozen,” fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad)in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

From the creators of Wreck-It Ralph and Tangled, both movies which I totally approve, I’m very excited to report I give this movie a full TWO thumbs up!

Is it good for younger kids?Disney Frozen
My 4 year old LOVED it!  As did my 7 year old.  There were kids older than that behind me and they were loving it too!

Is there humor that adults will enjoy?
Oh yes!  I was laughing out loud a couple times when my kids didn’t even laugh!

Were there scary parts?
There is one questionable part towards the middle/end where a “big, scary” snowman (think abominable snowman) is seen in a couple scenes.  All in all, throughout the course of the movie, this probably makes up 7-10 minutes.

Are the character voices perfect for the characters played?
All of the characters were simply perfect. The voices fit the characters and the whole dog-gone movie just plain flowed!! Kristen Bell, who played Anna, (the sister that doesn’t have white hair) was hilarious, awesome, funny, perfect! Olaf (the funny snowman) was just as awesome as Sven (the moose) – even though he didn’t “actually” talk himself in the movie.

Who were your favorite characters?
I honestly loved close to EVERYTHING about this movie – it’s stunning visually and the characters rocked it out.  Elsa sang a beautiful song, Let It Go.  She was just such a joy of a character, working through struggles, even when she had bad times!  Olaf and Sven made me laugh…a lot.  Anna was simply hilarious, the movie wouldn’t be the same without her exact personality. Kristoff  was hilarious as well, with some great one liners. 🙂  And Hans…well…I’ve said enough!  No spoilers here!

Now…the question for you after reading all this.  Before you see the movie and while watching – are you Team Kristoff or Team Hans??!! You will get that when you see it 🙂

Ask away – what questions do you have for me!  I’d love to fill you in with what I recall from the movie! 🙂
