what is kazoops and where can I find it?

I’ve seen something that you haven’t, and BOY can I tell you it’s great. Ha ha…have I grabbed your attention with the na-na na-na boo-boo first sentence? LOL! Kazoops is the name and playing, learning and educational things are it’s game. Take a peek with me, won’t you?

My initial reaction when I watched the screener I received, was THE COLORS. The catchy tune. The action. You guys, my girls are going to love this! 

And you guys, there is an adorable little pet-ish pig. A pig! My 7-year old sat down for this fact alone, she thinks adorable little piggies are THE best. So, the demographic for this adorable show is 3-6 years old, yet my 7-year old is truly intrigued as well. Such a winner!

This animated series follows the adventures of six-year-old Monty and his best friend, Jimmy Jones, the family pet pig. Monty uses his vivid imagination to challenge preconceptions about life such as “you have to wear matching socks” or
“all games need rules” and, in doing so, demonstrates the value of critical thinking and creative play.

Kazoops, also known as, IDEA or imagination!  Let’s get creative together with this adorable show. Monty, the main character shouts out, “Kazoops Jimmy Jones!” when his imagination starts up. You will soon see an adventure ensue. Monty tells Jimmy Jones what he is thinking, closes his eyes and says, “just imagine”. From there, adventre begins! Amazing places, new friends, ideas on what can happen, and on and on!

With each adventure is a unique song that guides the storyline along. Like I said above, the catchy tunes are so awesome, you will find your kids dancing, laughing and singing along! Also, as the parent, you can listen closely to the words of the song as they are sung to see how “deep” the songs can be when telling about new perspectives and ways to look at things along the way. Then, when the song ends, so does the journey. they return to the real world and our kids are left with a great imaginative experience that they just witnessed, allowing them and showing them that they TOO can do this on their own. I love how it opens their minds!!
