I would like to introduce you to someone. Please let me introduce you to my newest pair of shoes, and I know it’s kinda quick to admit this…but I think I am in love. SIMPLE readers say hello…
In all seriousness, I am shocked by these shoes! Acorn has been on SIMPLE a handful of times (first HERE for their Tex Moccasin Slippers, then HERE with their Wildflower Thong Sandals and the other time HERE with their Polars Mocs – to get you up to speed). This time I have something new, something I didn’t even know they HAD! BOOTS!!
These boots are C-O-M-F-O-R-T-A-B-L-E. These boots are stable, they offer support. They are not tight on my calves or ankles…even with my jeans inside them. They look good with skinny jeans and they look good peeking out of my boot cut jeans. They have a grip on the bottom, and while I haven’t encountered any ice with these boots yet, I would image there is a good grip that won’t be giving me a slip and slide ordeal. I have even worn these while chasing my kiddos around a gymnastics open gym night. My feel were cozy and not too warm either!
OK, so those are my thoughts…here is what Acorn Footwear has to say about the Crosslander Boots shown in this review…
This shoe features soft, water-repellent suede uppers with a shaft of soft italian wool=blend knit and a rawhide tie for ultimate fit and comfort. They are fully lined with soft sherpa fleece and insulated with Thermolite synthetic down with unique hollow-core fiber technology for superior warmth and durability. The footbed is a contoured, removable EVA insole with anatomic arch support. The Crosslander Boot has a new rubber outsole with hand-pressed natural jute for best non-slip traction and versatile wear.
