It’s nearing the end of July, and it’s been a beautiful summer for us! We’ve had lovely warm days, and perfect cool evenings! There is so much about summer that I love, but one of my favorites is getting together with friends to grill or to sit around a bonfire! We have had many perfect nights for that this year, and have tried to take advantage of time with family and friends.
There are a lot of yard games out there, and it’s fun to play old favorites as well as try new ones! I came across Yard Games and was impressed with the variety of outdoor games they carry. They offer many of your typical games like Ladder Toss and Tailgate Toss, as well as unique games like Tumbling Timbers and Scatter.
We have been using Tumbling Timbers as another yard game to play with family and friends. It’s like a life size version of Jenga! It’s a perfect game for any age, and even my little one year old enjoys being around the game, building his own stack next to the big tumbling tower!
Item Specifications:
Giant Tumble Timbers includes 54 – 2×3 pieces and 18 rows of tumbling timbers fun! This timber game also known as giant Jenga stands 2.5 feet tall and depending on your level of experience can reach a height of 6 feet! This game is great to take outdoors. Perfect for group events, parties, camping and more. Tumbling Timbers can be played by 2 or more players. First, build the tower, then take turns to remove a block (using only one hand) and place on the top. The object is to be the last player to successfully stack a wooden block without knocking down the tower! This set is made with beautifully crafted undecorated solid pine wood and is hand cut and sanded for smooth game play. Please note that the bottom level only has two timbers to begin, using 56 timbers allows for the easiest packing arrangement.
If you are looking for a new fun game, try out Tumbling Towers at your next barbecue, camping trip, or beach day! I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does!

July 26, 2015 at 10:54 amI like the smaller Jenga game, so I know that a giant one would be a real hit for the family – especially during a BBQ.
