trulys natural deodorant :: review and giveaway

imagesCAAL9KMLAre you looking for an effective, long lasting, all natural deodorant?  Well I was until I found Truly’s Natural Deodorant.  Ever wondered what is in deodorant and antiperspirant? How does it work?  Well, antiperspirants contain aluminum or zirconium which closes our pores and slows the perspiration.  Doesn’t sound right to me. Deodorants simply mask odor. They contain some chemicals that should be avoided such as formaldehyde and propylene glycol. The spray on versions use propellants such as butane and propane which are not exactly the best things to be inhaling. Yeah not good!imagesCAN7P3K5

This is why I have turned to Truly’s. My favorite part of this deodorant is that there are 4 ingrediants in it and I actually know what they all are.  Ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil, Powdered Sugar (sugar, cornstarch), Baking soda, Beeswax.  Because Truly’s natural deodorant contains only food safe ingredients, it is a great choice for kids and those with sensitive skin.  Truly’s is alcohol free, paraben free, aluminum free, and fragrance free.  It is really easy to apply and doesn’t sting even when used after shaving.  It works to prevent odor without exposing you to potentially harmful chemicals.  They use only simple, effective, natural ingredients that really work to eliminate odor all day without having to reapply.

At first I wasn’t sure how I was going to do with applying it with my fingers.  I thought well this is odd.  But I quickly got used to it and it works great.  I have been using it for several weeks now and I just love it.  IT is great price and knowing what I am putting on makes it worth it.

I use secret – powder fresh but want to try something more natural. I am hesitant since we live in the desert and I need something strong enough to battle with our 110 degree summer days.
