travel tip :: my take on the new seven dwarfs mine train ride at @waltdisneyworld!! #NewFantasyland

*I was sent on a trip to experience this new ride and learn about new happenings at Walt Disney World. All opinions are my own.*

**Scroll below to see a point of view video from the ride too!!**
DSC_0247Upon taking your next trip to Walt Disney World, you will notice something new there. Something fun. Something that almost anyone who follows Disney has been eagerly waiting for. A ride that opens to EVERYONE on May 28, 2014…

I had the honor to be invited to Walt Disney World last week to witness something I’ve never witnessed or have done before. I got to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride and now I want to share my take on it with you all.  And just like I do, I have way too many pictures from the trip that I want to share with YOU!

The first thing I noticed about the ride are the details. Oh so many details. It all starts with the sign at the front of the line.

Once you get through some of the winding lines that many will endure this summer season, you will enter a covered area. In this area is a fun game that will help pass the time. The colorful gems will be falling and you have to help them find their correct place. Not only will children love this, but my mother (who joined me on this trip) wanted to go back through again just so she could look in to this game further. Ha! 🙂

Not one detail was missed….

The inside waiting area is air conditioned and brings you completely in to the mine frame of mind. It darkens, and hidden gems can be found throughout the area. One that I’ll share with you, once you get to the barrels that spin, if you get them ALL SPINNING, you will have a secret reflection on the ceiling. It’s lovely!

Now….on to the ride! This ride is definitely not a thrill ride. There are no major swoops or upside down maneuvers. It is not a jerky ride either. It’s very smooth and has a couple tummy tingling drops and hair raising turns that will get a scream out of just about anyone. My daughters will completely love this ride. Towards the end there is a scene in the cottage with Snow White dancing…and be sure to see who is knocking on the door!

The views of the parks are outstanding as well…that is, if you can take your eyes off the ride long enough to see.

And because a ride wouldn’t be fun without a video, take a look and see from the Disney Parks YouTube page as well as my personal point of view from the ride.  Just for you…
