Earlier this Spring I was very excited to share The Original Tree Swing company with you all (you can read that review here). The Original Tree Swing is still a great family owned and operated business making heirloom quality kids toys from reclaimed wood but if you’ve visited them online in the past couple months you’ve probably noticed that not only do they have a new super-fab website they have added some great new toys as well! 
One of their great new toys is a Wooden Learning Clock. We’ve recently started working on the basics of telling time with my almost 4-year-old daughter and while we had originally just started with a digital clock we have found that it was the perfect timing to introduce The Original Tree Swing’s Wooden Learning Clock to her as well.
You probably could tell from the photos but the hour and minute hands are re-positionable and the round number pegs are removable. These removable number pegs are one of my favorite features of this learning clock because I’ve found it a great way to teach Michaela where the numbers on the clock each go while putting the pieces back in order.
I also should note that the number pegs have the corresponding minute increment (in 5s) on the reverse side so when we start working more on those pesky minute increments we can still use our Wooden Learning Clock from The Original Tree Swing.
