the mother of all “mother’s rings” completes my #realmomstyle :: week #2

Well, hello there!! It’s week two and I haven’t left you yet lol! Remember last week how I told you I have a lot of fun things planned for you all this year? I’m not ready to roll all that out yet, but I have something pretty fabulous that I just HAD to share with you all! I just got it this weekend and am in love!!

I have been wanting a Mother’s Ring for about two years now. However, I just couldn’t decide upon one. And if you have done any research on Mother’s Rings, you know that they aren’t a simple expense. They are definitely an investment, in my eyes at least!

I love Pandora and have a few bracelets full of charms from them. What I love about this brand and the charms is the fact that everything CAN have a meaning…or you can just put a bunch of fabulous-ness together and roll with it. I have one bracelet with meaning and one that’s just plain fun. And if you know me at all, you know that I like to mix and match and create awesome with my jewelry. Well, awesome in my eyes! So, when I found out that Pandora offers stackable rings, it caught my attention immediately.

IMG_5589About a year ago, I went in the store to take a look around. I was so completely overwhelmed that I walked out. I just wasn’t ready. It was too much to take in. I knew that I wanted to feel 100% right in my gut before taking the plunge. I am so thankful that I waited. Our little family is complete now with our four little girls, so I was able to completely create a ring that matched my family, in every sense of the way. Let me show you!

There was no order in which I chose these rings. I did a little research when I was at home, saw a few things I liked online, then went in store.

Our oldest was born in April, so diamonds. Yup…she came out expensive lol! I found this gorgeous braid to start things off with. It was intense, but I thought it was the perfect piece to start working around.

pandora may ringThird was my Preslee, born in July. I spotted a red heart. Typically I am NOT a heart gal, yet this was different. These four little ladies truly have my heart, so I knew I had to have a heart somewhere on my ring. There was this one other ring that was all silver hearts, with one gold heart. That was an option as well, I liked that to bring in the silver and gold aspect. But I liked that this was a heart AND color for the ring. So I went with it!

pandora july ringLast, I saw the bow, and knew I loved it. I just didn’t know how I would get it to work. It comes in gold as well. Then it came to me, this was going to represent our 4th daughter, Kensington. Since her “color” is basically the same as Preslee’s (red), I wanted to mix it up. I didn’t want two of the same colors in this ring. So, she’s represented with the bow. What is the last thing you put on a perfectly wrapped package? A bow!! She is the bow on our perfect package. She is the icing on our cake. She completes our family.

What do you think? Would you venture to Pandora to check their rings out too?

I adore the rings and the very neatest part is although you wear them as Mothers rings you later on could give each child their ‘own’ ring. I love that.
I also adore your Pandora bracelts I have a look alike I really like but goodness yours are beauties.

Oh thank you Ellen! I love them too! And I never thought about giving the girls their own rings when older. What a neat idea!! Thanks for the comment 🙂

Your Pandora bracelets are sooo pretty. I have always wanted one myself, but haven’t been able to afford one. But this is the year! That’s what I am getting for my birthday in August. I didn’t know they offered those rings either and I love the idea of using them stacked as a Mother’s Ring. It is so unique and no one is going to have one like it you can bet.

I like the look! 🙂 I think a Pandora necklace would work best for me because I have small hands and can’t pull off the stacked look 🙁 .

I never would have thought of stacking rings but what a great combo. I have been wanting to do something for my boys as well. This definitely would be a great option love it!~
