So, what did I catch on the monitor? Her climbing out of her crib oh so stealthily and smooth. Sure, not a big deal to some, but COME ON NOW! She’s our fourth and not one of her older sisters did that. Thankfully, she never fell out and/or landed on her head. Phew!
Now that we are talking about monitors, I wanted to share one with you today that I recently learned about and think is quite amazing. Like, so amazing that I’ll be telling pregnant friends all about it. Baby Journey and AT&T got together and created something magical in the baby space.
Ok, let’s talk about what I think is cool now. Set-up is super simple. And if you have wi-fi in your house (psh, ‘if’ lol!!), you just have to input that information in. Once set-up is complete, look at all that this tiny little 5″ baby monitor can do…
- see your baby, an obvious one, i know…
- track activities and milestones such as feedings, weight, sleep, medicine reminders, etc.
- share these activities and milestones direct from the monitor OR the app

- touch screen with zoom capabilities
- built-in rechargeable battery
- 5″ crystal clear screen with easy to see buttons option on the side
- take pictures directly from the monitor and share directly from the monitor to social media networks
- on/off and volume easy to access

I have never owned a video monitor before because they were not that popular when my son was born five years ago. My siblings and even my mom have them at their houses now and I would love one! If I am not the lucky winner, I will definitely have to find a way to put this on the need list. ????
As for the what I have witnessed on the monitor question… My old-school monitor pick up a neighbor’s argument with her husband once! ???? Otherwise I have gotten to hear my son sing the songs that I sing to him, to himself. Adorable!

When I went to VA to visit me and my sister was up late talking and we heard him in his room talking we were watching the video monitor and he stands up in the crib and starts pretending to play the fiddle and saying ” Look popow I play it “apparently he does this in his sleep often .
