Almost three weeks in to those New Year’s Resolutions… how well are you keeping on track? I’ve found that keeping a written record seems to help me stay accountable to myself with how I’m actually doing with my goals. Whether it be a food journal, exercise log, budget book, a thankfulness journal, prayer requests, etc. – writing it down seems to make a huge difference on how well and how long I keep working on those goals.

Gotcha Covered Notebooks on The SIMPLE Moms

Personally this is the year I’ve decided to start a thankfulness journal. I wanted to be able to look back and remember the big and little things I’m thankful for on a daily basis, plus it seems to make a huge difference in my overall attitude for the day. Now, I have a million and one old notebooks laying around but this felt special and I decided that a special new notebook was in order for this grand endeavor.

I cannot tell you how much fun I had customizing my ideal notebook from Gotcha Covered Notebooks. Everything from shape, to size, to paper type and even the coil color! Plus, each of the 3 different notebooks we have from Gotcha Covered Notebooks includes a matching back cover.

To make a notebook with Gotcha Covered Notebooks I first had to either choose from one of their over 500 cover designs or even create my own with photos, logos, etc! After that I needed to select a size, either the standard 8.5″x11″, reusable 8.5″x11″, square 8.5″x8.5″, or a small 5.5″x8.5″. After that I selected each paper style and a coil color (because they needed to match the cover obviously). The paper choices include everything from Wide Ruled or College Ruled to a Fitness Tracker, Checklist, Recipe, Password, or even Graph paper. Here are the links to the Golden Unicorn, Floral Wreath, and Prismatic covers that we decided on.

Two of the notebooks I created are for my kids and one loves to write and draw so I got her a Sketch/Lined paper so she can illustrate her stories and poems, while the other is just gaining confidence in her writing skills so she has Practice paper in her notebook. With unique names they are also very excited to have their notebook personalized with their name on the front – for free even!

I’m already deciding which cover I want for a personalized check list – oh my gosh, I love written out To-Do lists! Tell me I’m not alone in this addiction…
