start the year off right with teaching textbooks 4.0
We have chosen to use Teaching Textbooks for the 2020-2021 school year for our homeschool math curriculum. I can honestly say this is the best program for everyone. So many families have felt lead to homeschool their children with everything that is going on in the world today and I am one of those parents. We will be using Math 3, Math 5 and Geometry. If you are a parent that has decided to homeschool and have no idea where to begin this is a great curriculum that will teach your child age appropriate math concepts.
We are using the download version of Teaching Textbooks 4.0 for Math 3, Math 5 and Geometry. I have included a full teacher lead lesson from math 4 to show you how the lesson is presented. When your child has finished his/her lesson the grade and date will be logged into the grade book for their daily lesson. I love that during each lesson your child’s chosen character will encourage them as they do their math assignments. They can even choose their own wallpaper to help personalize their online math workbook.
If you have not purchased your math curriculum I would definitely go with the NEW 4.o Version! It will allow you to do math anywhere you go since it will be mobile friendly. This is a great option so that your family can travel while you are homeschooling. We are hoping to take more family trips now that we have chosen to homeschool again. I have also included a sample of an upper level math lesson so that you can see that even though this math is more advanced it walks the student through each lesson step-by-step. If you child needs to listen multiple times they are able to do so.
All three of my children are enjoying learning and even choose to do multiple lessons. You can’t help but be proud of your child when they choose to learn more that what is required daily. Teaching Textbooksis the only online curriculum we are using.
