spoonful of comfort :: gourmet chicken soup gift basket {giveaway}

I stumbled on Spoonful of Comfort about a year ago.  One of my jobs as church secretary is to send flowers to people who are ill, tired mom’s that just had a baby, or an elderly member that is shut in.  There is nothing wrong with flowers, but the practical side of me really liked this concept.  Besides, I think it’s safe to say almost everybody likes chicken noodle soup.  Especially this recipe!

My family tested out the chicken soup, homemade rolls, and cookies.  BEST OATMEAL COOKIES I HAVE EVER HAD!

The gourmet soup was definitely homemade (and delicious) and the rolls were fabulous too.  I was delighted that not only was the packaging adorable, but the food tasted fantastic too.

They won me over on the presentation of the soup the moment I opened the package.  Look how cute it is!  When you send a loved one a “spoonful of comfort” you get to personalize a card that greets them when they open the box.

I recently sent my aunt a Spoonful of Comfort package because she broke her ankle.  She lives thousands of miles away and I felt helpless. This gave me a way to “help” her.  We did have a little bit of a giggle that a person on crutches may not think soup is a friendly food to transport from the kitchen to the table, but she is clever and she made it work. 🙂

Spoonful of Comfort guarantees your complete satisfaction. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, you can call and they will assist you with a prompt exchange, refund, or credit.  I personally had a little  trouble with a coupon code during one of my 6 orders that I have placed this past year, and they quickly helped me with my problem and threw in extra savings for my troubles.  Now that is excellent customer service!  my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5

    I would send this cheery, comforting gift to my friend who has been caring for her husband who is ill.

    I’m not sure if the mandatory comment is supposed to go on the Rafflecopter form or here in comments so I’m leaving it in both places. 🙂

    I would send it to my friend who just had a baby, is a single mom, doesn’t have a car and lives on an island.
